Bigger shock at Anfield
Yes, Liverpool wonBigger shock at Anfield
Change that to 4Some tough games coming up, both Manchester clubs & Liverpool, not expecting more than 1 point from the three games.
Might be six. If West Brom don’t win on Monday, Leeds are safe so will be playing for fun. The pressure will be off so don’t be surprised if they win more of their remaining games than you think. They’re an exciting young team and if Bielsa is given a few quid to spend this summer, I would expect great things at Leeds next season.Change that to 4
Congratulations to the Mighty Leeds, who secured another season of premiership football with six games to spare :campeon:Well that’s the four points from two games, next game a point’s a bonus
I think you got exactly what you set out for. I expected a lot more from us after no midweek game for the first time since august 2019.Can’t see us getting anything today, playing against 13 men
We set out for the win, Bielsa doesn’t play for draws, some very poor decisions from the ref didn’t help, ie, doesn’t see anything but gives a free kick because the Man U bench shouted for one, McTomety cynically pulling Kalvin Phillips to the floor to allow Fernandez to get away, (how did var let that one go?) were just two of them, falling for it everytime Leeds challenged & Man U fell over, I know Leeds didn’t play like saints but they were penalised for it each time.I think you got exactly what you set out for. Got a feeling Leeds might struggle next season, along with Wolves who are going backwards at a rate of knots.
Sorry, I must have been watching a different game!We set out for the win, Bielsa doesn’t play for draws, some very poor decisions from the ref didn’t help, ie, doesn’t see anything but gives a free kick because the Man U bench shouted for one, McTomety cynically pulling Kalvin Phillips to the floor to allow Fernandez to get away, (how did var let that one go?) were just two of them, falling for it everytime Leeds challenged & Man U fell over, I know Leeds didn’t play like saints but they were penalised for it each time.
Our first encounter resulted in us playing naively & losing 6-2, our last three matches, beat Man City away 2-1, drew with Liverpool 1-1, drew with Man u 0-0 before the city game we won our previous two games 2-1, we have been without our record signing for much of the season, we have a lot of injured players on the brink of returning, we were without our Captain today, add to that a summer of bringing in new players, I think we will be aiming for Europe next season & I can see us beating most of the former ESL clubs
Not unusual for a Man U fanSorry, I must have been watching a different game!
He doesn’t strike me as a man to rest on his laurels either. I’d be surprised if he took more than a week off in the summer.Bielsa carries out unprecedented research into each team & how they play, he knows that some teams are going to match his for fitness & in many cases surpass them in skill, he has learnt loads already in the Premiership.
My old next door neighbours son is also a Man Utd fan and he totally agrees with your old next door neighbours son.My old next door neighbour’s son is a Man u fan but he always gives an honest opinion about games, he summed up yesterdays game by saying he was disappointed with his team’s tactics, it’s like they were frightened to let Leeds play their game so fell at every tackle
Which sums up what a howler the ref had.My old next door neighbours son is also a Man Utd fan and he totally agrees with your old next door neighbours son.
