I am waiting for a reply to #297

If I may John, and as txt often loses intent I want to make it clear it is with support

I've just checked the last few pages and you have asked him directly on 4 occasions and he has refused to answer as you have asked. You have also said to others that you are waiting on multiple occasions.

On every single mention, he has refused to reply as requested but still continued to post so clearly has seen the site owners request but chose to continue to drag down bird rather than answer the site owner.

John, if I may politely say, he has as much contempt for you as he does the site and its members and he will not answer as Cod as suggested, but will drag it out and continue trying to ruin bird until you do what should have been done a long time ago.

More than anyone else John he is taking the piss out of your decisions by ignoring you and ruining your site for nothing more than his own amusement

Robbo, Absolutely your right. If only it was that easy. It is difficult to see a forum you like using being seen as a cesspit of infighting and people like davey are being allowed to reduce our numbers more than any single reason.

I have had him on ignore but ignore only half deals with the problem if the problem is still here taking the piss out of the members, the site and its owner.

I'm going to respectfully take a break for a week as it doesn't feel like our site anymore, it feels like davey's and that is not a site I would sign upto.

Ok it's all part of the free speach, of course I'm over reacting. Sorry John I thought it would be inappropriate to wish death on someone because they had different views to you.
Just one small question, why all the discussion about IS, surely they're only taking what is deemed as acepptable here, to the next step. But I suppose I've missed some other subtle point.

I have never met Russ but know him through this site, easy going chap, does a lot for the site and of course the McBash, takes a lot to press his button, as you obviously did. John says you are a nice guy to his face, as most prob are terrorists when they want something.

So I will say this in a nice way, why dont you go and do something for a charity, we are a generous bunch and will donate to a good cause, say go take a walk across the Sahara with no food or water :-0)

I am not Davey Bee's biggest fan & I voted for the temporary ban, has it had the desired effect? I don't know, in fairness to Davey as far as I can see he has moderated his posts, he hasn't branded me a racist recently regardless of whether or not his opinion has changed & for that, thank you Davey, on the other hand he has not apologised & for that, shame on you Davey.
Having met Jaws & seen the hard work he puts in both to this site & helping people, how the hell can you be at loggerheads with him, Davey, you do have some usefull stuff to contribute, particularly bike related.
On other matters you have your opinions & whilst I may not agree with them I respect them.
Read your posts & ask yourself honestly if you can say the same.
Join in the banter, meet some of the guys & gals & you will find a forgiving bunch.

John I clearly said WISHED DEATH, never once did I say threat. Had I been threatened with death I certainly would not have asked you to deal with it, there are authorities that are much better placed to deal with that.
However, and I'm sure this will be ignored, but what kind of "dangerous pastime forum" (or any forum for that matter) condones members wishing another death, at any point, let alone, because they have a differing point?
I would suggest that you've allowed personal abuse to go unchecked and now it's at this point, it's just a matter of time before someone takes upon him/herself to start making death threats.
And equally important, what pride can you have on running a site that runs at this level?

I used to take considerable pride in BIRD, then you came along, wound people up and pissed people off so much it has degenerated in to this sort of thing.
I would like to believe you have not done this with any deliberate intent but it is quite obvious to one and all ( your self included ) that this is what has happened

I constantly receive mails concerning your activity..
Your activity has caused two people to leave ( one as a direct result of your posts and one, a very valued member, as an indirect result .. )

I have tried and tried.. I have repeatedly asked you to curtail your extremely contentious remarks..
You persistently say it is about free speech
Yet the first time someone expresses on the forum anything agin what you say or do you immediately call foul

Surely you must see you are putting me in an impossible position and others are being driven to distraction

I would ( and I know I am gonna get flack for this ) much prefer you to stay a member of BIRD.. Why not simply avoid threads such as these ?
Be the bigger man and bite your metaphorical tongue..
