Right then.

Engine running well but float on number three carb sticking. Fuel leak when engine stopped. All your fault, Me. Will prolly have to take the feckers off again.

Brake calipers off. Disks rusty as feck and needs new front pads. Clean disks with wire brush?

Biggest problem is the clutch lever is VERY, VERY stiff and clutch plates apparently not separating. Wheel will not turn in gear with the clutch pulled in. Anyone good on clutches? Clutch cable and operating doodah is fine.

Drain floatbowl 3 in situ and let it refill again, see if it reseats first rather than pull :whi5tl:

Discs I'd do with a soft bristled brass wire brush.

Clutch..... No idea mate

Now just for future reference.
The best carb. Cleaner on the market is vinegar.
Yes vinegar.
Soak them in that for half hour, then rinse thoroughly in fresh water.
You will never use carb cleaner or an ultrasonic cleaner again.
Does not rot rubber too, which is an added bonus.

Thank you all.

Bike has travelled 11 miles. Needs new tyres and front brakes still dragging badly so need to look at re-bleeding as I can't think what else it could be as the pistons were cleaned. Suzuki has a nipple on each side of the caliper so I assume bleed furthest from master cylinder first? Pistons have a plastic insert which if removed would give a bit more space until the pads have bedded in. Any reason why not?
