Speaking with an old couple who's road is on the route, they don't have a garage so park on the road as do many others. They have all had letters through their doors telling them to remove their cars between 8am & 4pm.
I would park both cars, horsebox & my trailers on the road if I got a letter like that.

This old couple are very active & well capable of taking on the event organisers & the council, they have no intention of moving their car.

Have you ever thought about embracing all aspects
Of life rather than getting on the soapbox and fighting everyone and everything that you don't agree with?

I hope they park the car on the road as it will get towed. They shouldn't have a car if they do not have off road parking.

And you'd get them towed and have to pay for release - you've seen the signs on the roadside.

I do embrace/tolerate most things but preventing someone from providing essential care & basics (food & water) to their livestock is illegal.
Telling people they cannot park their cars legally is bullying, have I mentioned I hate bullies?

No signs saying "no parking" there are signs saying "parking, residents only"

I rode back from Holmfirth the other day and all along the A635 to Denby Dale there were signs warning of no parking/towing away. I just assume it's the same all along the actual route unless Kirklees are taking a stronger stand than Barnsley.

Some might say that leaving livestock 3 miles away from home and then moaning about lack of access is a bit rich?
