Ian dear boy, you fail to realise that as hard working, conscientious, over worked, under paid, servants of the crown, we have to work alternate weekends, thus the weekend we do get off is quality family time, so we have to grab our chances of rides when we can usually midweek in my case, as I work nights then I cannot go too far as I have to be home and get ready for work, and on my weeks off if I go too far I may miss the opportunity of overtime, however since purchasing my bike at the beginning of Feb there are about seven days total when I have not ridden it, considering that three of those days were spent in Amsterdam I don't think that's too bad, and if you cast your mind back to the supposed meet at squires when meeting chuff at least I did attempt to get there on two wheels whilst you sat in the comfort of your car, so

Who is the armchair rider now :f man8um

If our lass would go on the back of a bike I would take her, but she prefers horses and fast as they are they can't keep up with the bird even with me riding,
What was your bike doing in bits? I thought that was a nightclub in Wakey

Yes it was a rather eventful start to some peoples season and one i dont want to be repeated if we can help it .I'm sure Pete will be feeling sore for a while and wish both he and Jenny a speedy recovery .
On a lighter note given the bl**dy awful weather it was great to see so many people take the trouble to put in an appearance albeit for a short time together.
Under the circumstances i didnt feel that the planned route shoud be continued until things were sorted out and apologise if this was a big dissapointment to anyone but there will be many more rideouts during the year and hopefully less eventfull.
Big up for Nosher travelling up from Milton Keynes ,Ianrobbo from Wakefield Rhino from Manchester with his Posse and the Midland Massive from all parts (i'm feckin sure Taffy's still growing !! must be that brown bread ?)
for Centaur for bringing me a can of pop and refusing to give it to me
and a BIG BIG thank you for Steath rider and his better half for doing all they did for Pete & Jenny and dealing with the Police in the aftermath
Heres to a better future
