I've just spoken to Russ and this is going to happen @tu*

Dates are Friday, 28th August to Monday 31st, August 2015.

I have booked FIFTEEN rooms in the Londonderry Arms Hotel but they are likely to go quickly. Have a look here - http://www.glensofantrim.com/

For any SoA fans, Carnlough appeared in a couple of the (shite) third season episodes. Probably more interestingly, Winston Churchill owned the hotel in the 1920s and you can still see burn marks from his cigars on a couple of toilet cisterns (I made that last bit up about the cigar burns).

Cost for the three nights will be no more than ?100 per person and that'll get you three B&B and two three-course evening meals! Bargain!!

If you're keen to go, please contact the hotel ASAP and book a room which'll give me an idea how many rooms we'll need in total. Telephone number is 028 2888 5255 - ask to speak to Carol.

I'll post more details soon.

Confirmed:

Russ and Janice (russ_fae_fyvie)
Damien and Lynne (damientt)
Scott and Helen (tsm23)
Rob and Nikki (MAcBETH)
Roy (Punchy)
Ian and Yvonne (ianrobbo1)

Your best bet may be to contact Nutt Travel on 028 7035 1199. They may be able to give you a better deal than booking direct with the ferry companies. I just checked Holyhead to Dublin with Nutt and, for a return, it's ?104 fully flexible for a bike. If you travel in a group they could possibly, perhaps give a discount.

to be honest i might go Liverpool to Belfast get in at 18.30 1 hour ride up to hotel good to go

We're gonna try and make a weeks holiday out of it.
Aiming to get the ferry from Cairnryan on the Friday, over to the Hotel then on the Monday head down to Cavan for a couple of nights (they owe us free nights after I got my bloody ear infection in July!) so we're gonna take that offer, then down to get the ferry to Anglesey, once we land head over to Donington to do a Ron Haslam Track Day !

Not sure of their dates yet but one way or the other we'll be making a week out of it, looking forward to getting to the O'BASH even more now !

Now the Blackbird is easier to ride, also got it booked into the Ohlins guru at Knockhill on 1st November where I'm hoping the full resurrection of the old girl will be completed !!

And here are the selection of new Stickers for the O'BASH !

Vote soon !!

Website will be on its way soon too.

Having spent 3 hours on the PC checking ferry times, prices, availability, etc etc, it looks like our trip is a no goer... The cheapest ferry return I can get for my vehicle is ?272.54

I really did think that it would be a LOT cheaper than that, especially booking soooo far ahead of time... I was expecting about maybe ?100 to ?150 for the return journey... Really gobsmacked for such a short trip.

What with the price of ferry, the driving up to Scotland etc, its going to be too much for us :)-(

Sorry guys. Still hope you have a great time,

Loads of love to all,

Rolfy & Jan
