........ the driving up to Scotland etc, .......Rolfy & Jan

Why are you considering driving up to Scotland?

Stenna Line and Irish Ferries run from Holyhead to Dublin Port which saves a shed load of miles.

This one's a non-starter for us, I'm afraid. August bank holiday weekend is the Ogri Rally.:bang:

The bastards!

They have moved the Bank Holiday forward a week compared to the last few years because we always made sure the McBASH was the weekend after the Bank Holiday (this year it was the 23/24/25th Aug and the McBASH was the following weekend) and you are right Arty, next year its the following weekend (29/30/31st)

What a shower of............

Hopefully it won't effect anyone else.

Get it booked, then you'll definitely have it to look forward to. Things only ever seem expensive before you buy them.

Who is proposing to go on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry?

Reason I ask is that I live only 3 miles from Holyhead port so everyone is welcome to meet up at mine for a brew.

I may also be able to put anyone up for the previous night if you are travelling any distance.

Roy

We had to change our plans Roy, we're now going from Cairnryan on the way out and now coming back to Heysham via the Isle of Man but thanks for the offer, I'm sure some will be going from Holyhead so be prepared to be inundated !!
