I’ve battled with the Virgin Media call centre with 2 phone calls today. I want to get a better price as they want to increase my bill from £29.50pm to £47.00. Yesterday I was kept holding on their infernal system for 15 minutes before I decided to hang up.
Today I got to speak to a human (just about) inside 12 minutes, and then struggled to make sense of her Indglish. To say she had a thick, impenetrable accent was being kind. I really struggled to make sense of what came out of her script. I couldn’t cope with it so I hung up.
I redialled and got through faster, I realised if I didn’t answer the computer and just let it go it meant a human would answer sooner.
he did. But once again another Indian I could barely speak to. I managed to get the price down to £40pm but I’m not happy. I really detest these sub-continent call centres with a vengeance.
the best call centre I’ve dealt with is Sky as they are based in Dundee I think.
q. Is £40pm for 100mbps broadband only a good deal?
