Home made sauces are so much better than ready made stuff, it’ll change your life.

Have a go at making your own curry next, don’t get too scientific just keep chucking stuff in until it tastes good, a teaspoon or two of brown granulated sugar may be needed to take the acidity off the tomatoes, don’t be scared of it.....except be careful with the chilli :yikes:

Weighed myself: lost 3.25lbs this week of the blubber I put on in January.

Put the annual dose of inhibitor in the central heating.

Measured up a piece of oak that I will be putting in the cloaks cupboard to more hooks on.

Watched the snow falling, would be nice to see it settle for a few hours but I don’t think it’s happening.

Yup, the amount of salt and sugar in a lot of packaged food is scary.

We haven’t added salt to anything we cook for years but the TV chefs Chuck it in by the bucketload. We get pretty good feedback on our food when we entertain and nobody is ever searching for the salt mill.

Except my dear friend Dave who put a ton of salt on everything he ate before he even tasted it. He died of a heart attack.

When my father eat a fried egg it would be all white by the time he was finished putting salt on it. Lived to be 85.

Put another piece of oak up in the coats cupboard so we could have more hooks. piece of pee.

Putting the hooks on the rail...nightmare.

Despite pilot holes the first screw snapped , followed by the fourth.

Ironically I bought the hooks as they had matching screws included. I wish they had said they were made out of chocolate.

Fortunately I have a nice selection of stainless steel screws and found some that did the job nicely.

Did the annual battle with the AA for their breakdown membership renewal. I went to cancel and after a chat I ended the home cover, told them it was still too much, they then wanted £146.97 for Roadside and Relay. I was offered 12 months for the price of 10 = £121.99 and settled for 12 months for the price of 9 = £110.23 and frozen for 2 years. At least I won’t need to dance next year - I hope I remember.
