Complete Bollox John!!

.... a complete arse to keep clean......

No more difficult than a BlackBird to keep clean - the "unfaired" sides are similar in openess and design to all FireBlades since 2003 - and, as far as I'm aware, very few, if any, Blade owners have moaned about any difficulty in keeping clean

.......has a dustbin, luggage melting exhaust ......

Don't think so John - Honda will have tested and tested and tested that - maybe even the OEM luggage will have a heat shield built into the one panniers. What they have done, quite cleverly, is to show the new bike with luggage fitted - benchmark for the likes of Givi to match - and are Givi gonna undercut the price AND offer colour matching? And offer a substantial enough price difference to make a customer switch away? I suspect not!! Clever marketing move Mr Honda

....

....delivers the same oomph as a 13 year old bike..
...

It's not been designed for out-and-out performance- it's a Sports Tourer FFS - Why the fook would you need any more speed? Why would anyone want a better performance for a Sports-Tourer? FFS even the exisitng Blackbird has more ooomph than 95% of riders can handle anyway

If anyone wants better performance - go test ride a FireBlade

.

What it will be though is a bastard to service

With all those electronic gismo's and gadgets, it's gonna be a "Main Dealer - plug it into £'000's laptop and Official Software" service job - then watch all the bleating start

Still kickin' it!
No more difficult than a BlackBird to keep clean - the "unfaired" sides are similar in openess and design to all FireBlades since 2003 - although, as far as I'm aware, very few, if any, Blade owners have ever actually ridden in less than 20 degrees ambient temperature and zero humidity.
What they have done, quite cleverly, is to show the new bike with luggage fitted so that people can't see what a truly horrible fecker it is when it's "naked". Clever marketing move Mr Honda! :-:
It's not been "designed" as far as anyone can see - it's a VFR FFS! Why the fook would you expect any improvement over the Blackbird? Why would anyone expect better performance for 12/13K? p0pc0rn41 If anyone wants better performance - go test ride a Kawasaki.
What it will be though is a bastard to service - as well as bein an ugly coont. With all those electronic gismo's and gadgets, it's gonna be a "Main Dealer - plug it into ?'000's laptop and Official Software" service job - that's why it won't sell in significant numbers compared to the BB.

Couldn't agree more...! :-0)

Suspect that Honda are trying to capitalise on the "solus dealer" status by bring all the servicing as well as bike sales [new and used] and aftermarket accessories, all under one roof

Think it may eventually be a case of Honda customer for life - cherish and own - marketing style - bit like the BMW approach - if you can afford the bike - you can afford the servicing and accessory costs that go with it!

Highly arrogant approach but, in terms of profitability per customer, it works for the "German Crowd"

Will be interesting to see if the same works for Honda

Good find Hairdresser!

Notice the stainless downpipes?

That's a new one for Honda?

Interesting thought ............

Where would you fix a crash bung without having to drill a hole straight through that beautiful side panel?

and a VERY lame test ride from the goons at MCN - just as well he's wearing a dark visor - he's riding like a twat - and still no crash bungs LOL
He's riding the ugly Mo' Fo' like a twat 'cos it can't achieve a decent LEAN ANGLE.

Even on a heavily cambered road, that set of big bollocks at the back look ready to touch down with the hero blobs..! p0pc0rn41
