was a while ago!! but -

I think it was about two days before it swelled. about 3 days of hurting (but not major). then got the bar changed for a smaller one a few weeks later - honestly can't remember how long, prob 6 weeks. Dont rush getting the bar changed though, however annoying the first one is!! and get your piercer to change it for you - much easier!!! Don't forget to keep tightening the balls on the bar or they might fall off - in which case the bar falls out and you have to go through it all again!! (and keep a couple of spare balls just in case!)

I lived on noodles and spagetti for the first few days - you don't have to chew, just move your head and the food kind of slides down!! just don't forget the mouth wash!!!
:k:k:k:k
Wow, thanks for the info, thats really helpful! The piercer said they shorten the bar after a week rather than actually change it? You're right about the first bar being annoying-its far too long!! I had my tummy pierced and was lucky with that, it only took about two weeks to heal! Thanks again! Ure a star! :k  :k

Oi Clive, let's get her pissed and sort out the piercing, with a bit of luck she'll not remember anything and if she does - we can blame MtK!!

Sounds like an excellent idea, have lump hammer and 6" nail ready...

Brandy works well and it'll save on anesthetic.....

My eldest daughter had her tongue pierced, no problems until her dentist saw her next, as she has "braces" in and a lot of dental work to be done, the dentist went ape shit!! she has gotten into the habit of "clicking" the stud thing on the brace, he has told her it buggers up the enamel of the teeth, and all his "work" will go to shit sooner rather than later, has she listened to him?? has she fuck!!
me I couldn't care less about "other peoples" piercings tattoos or whatever, :dunno: and I'm in the lucky position to actually enjoy a few "piercings" just think about the future and anything visible!! what can look "good" on a 19 year old, "may" not have the same appeal on a 50 something!! :dunno:

I don't particularly like piercings but a couple of years ago I was walking round Wakefield town centre & a woman of about 65-70 years old walked out of Greggs wearing a yellow crop top showing off her extended gut complete with stretch marks & belly button piercing I decided I wasn't hungry anymore :puke:

Have spent long time looking after my teeth, had a fixed brace at 11 years old, full wisdom teeth by 14 and never had any problems. I intend to carry on looking after them! Thats also the good thing with piercings, you can take them out at anytime and they will heal...unlike a tattoo which is there for life and as my cousin prooved you cannot have them removed despite all this laser surgury malarky.
Apperciate your comments, but....
