1. Did you really ask me who James Mason is?

2. Anthony M. Curtis, able seaman from Hampshire. He was my watch keeper on a container ship early 90s.

3. We did an exercise with the SBS and Hants Police in 1991. The SBS boarded our container ship in the English Channel from RIBS and helicopters as part of an exercise; members of Hants police were 'terrorists' who had hijacked and taken over the ship. We were asked if we wanted to play along and as I was off duty, it was rude not to. I was a terrorist with a suicide vest. I apparently cost a couple of the commandos a slap because they hesitated when I leapt out and told them I had enough plastic strapped to me to take the entire ship out. A commander appeared and put two 'bullets' right between my eyes. Pretty dramatic stuff when he hit them both out of the way with his gun. Apparently, my 'death' was Oscar-winning

5. Sailed under it a couple of times whilst on a cruise and drove over it a few times when on holiday.

6. I wouldn't do the job I do if I couldn't. I was at sea for 17 years before I came ashore, worked my way up from deck boy.
