Confirmed that I simply cannot tolerate milk anymore in large quantities. Bowl of cereal (run out of natural yoghurt) at around 7:30….well, you probably don’t want to know the outcome an hour or so later. Just glad i was In the house!

Lactose free???
Everything was free!!

It doesn’t bother me to be honest - never been a big milk person despite being a milk monitor for a while at school. Strangely I can tolerate my regular breakfast of natural yoghurt with jumbo oats and fruit mixed in. That also has the benefit of keeping the hunger pains at bay until lunchtime much more than a bowl of cereal ever did.

Delivery today of four new dining room chairs.

Ordered at the beginning of February.

Arrived as arranged, except when unboxed they found one has a broken leg.

Once again the best of British business continues to deliver nothing but failure.

:(

Furniture shop has rung to apologise.
They are sorting out a replacement chair, although I did suggest it would perhaps be better to consider replacing all four as there may be issues on fabric matching.

Well see what happe6now!

Day out with camera club to Waddesdon Manor, took loads of photos (not downloaded from camera yet)

Invested in shares in the place or to put it another way, purchased a coffee ☕️ and flapjack, twice the cost I would pay locally

Signed up for the "Future Health/NHS" scheme

Had a run up to Devils Bridge on the Blackbird this morning, had a coffee and a natter. It looked like BMW day in the bike park. On the way back I decided to make a detour to Glasson Dock and took the very narrow road that cuts through from Galgate to Conder Green.
As I descended the last hill I saw that there was a 'puddle' right across the road at the bottom. I soon discovered that it was a bit more than a puddle, the road was actually flooded but I continued cautiously onwards. After a hundred meters or so there were no longer any hedge rows to show the direction of the road, I knew it curved to the left but everything was just level water and it was impossible to know how close to the verge I was. I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and proceeded to do a million point turn, the water was way over my boots and almost up to my knees. I got off the bike keeping the engine revving incase the water entered the exhausts and finally got it turned around.
My phone then rang, it was my son asking if he should come and pick me up now or am I going round to his. We were supposed to meet up at 11 to visit the care home for my mums birthday. I explained my predicament, apologised for the complete loss of the track of time and said I would see him in half an hour.
Soon as I got home I emptied my boots then washed them and my bike down with fresh water to get rid of all the salt water.
Then visited my Mum for her 93rd Birthday at the care home.

Here you go. It’s an old tatt I had back in 2003 that was re-worked into something completely different. Robbi will like it, he likes his dragons.

Forgive the delay in responding - I mistakenly thought that was a random picture of a female Turkish weightlifter. Quite possibly a dead one.

I simply can’t imagine how rubbish the original tattoo was if that is an improvement. Mind you I think all tattoos are rubbish.

Been wracking my brains as I knew it reminded me of something…got there eventually…

If you thought that was a random female Turkish weightlifter, you must have had some shady 'events' in your past.

It was ok 20 odd years ago, but I was bored of it. Tatts are very personal; I see some that I find pretty crap and others are works of art. To each his own.

No. Just, no.
