so your tat covered chap at work is a lesbian too? What a ridiculous sterotypical ingrate he is. Okay on a guy, lesbian on a woman, what a c u n t.

You 2 need to get a room and sort this out, and preferably not on a public forum, fun though it is, as you both are relatively grown up people. There is much more to life than just physical appearance and if she means that much to you, give it a go, if you mean that much to her there may be some mediation. From my point of view it looks shit on women, and blokes for that matter as it is a form of self harming.

Go talk to each other before it becomes too far gone for any reconcilliation. If it can't be resolved just part having enjoyed the time you have had and hope to get other partners you feel strongly about. Sounds like you would both regret it. Man up and girl up for goodness sake. :k

That was a remarkably intelligent and, dare I say it, quite sensitive post for you, Mac. @tu*

Who are you and what have you done with Lumpy? :dunno: :-0)

.like mac says get off a public forum

I came onto a public forum asking for advice as I do not have anyone else I could talk to. I asked people at work, but did not have friends I could confide in and see you guys as my friends. Sorry if I made the wrong presumption.

Old age and wisdom will show you it was a mistake compounding the situation but for now, for you, it is the right decision.

Here's a lady I took a photo of at the 2002 tattoo convention in Peterborough. I'm guessing she was in her 60's then.

She said she was fully covered from the ankles to neck, but I didn't ask to see!

Fair point but shouldn't be seen as a wrong presumption.

Asking any question on here and expecting a sensible response is often a huge mistake. It leaves you wide open for pelters and abuse from all angles (ask Andybird!).

That said, I would be amazed if any of the abuse and piss taking on this thread, and 99% of the others, was written with malicious intent. It is nothing more than banter and bullshit.

Now man up and grow a set, you soppy twat! :-0)

She stripped off down to her knickers on a tv programme about tattoos a while back and yes, she proved that every bit of her body is tattoo'd.

I'm absolutely amazed that this debate is still going on !

All I can say is if you love someone and want to be with them then you accept them for who they are. Weigh up their good points and their bad points and then make your decision. No-ones perfect and if they are then they are probably not a genuine person. Make your choice based on everything you know about them and accept the fact that they will have some of what you may consider 'imperfections' in body or character. You'll have just as many as they have.

We all have a past that can't be changed and we all have things we want to do in the future.

If you are considering breaking up with her over her wanting to have a small tattoo that you dont want her to have then in my opinion she is probably going to be better off without you. One of the most important things in any relationship is to not try and control your partner. Couples are still individuals with independent ideas, it's what makes people who they are. You are trying to impose your ideas on her... a bad move and a sure sign that there's trouble ahead in your relationship.

Sorry if that comes over as a bit strong but as you've asked for opinions on the forum then this is mine.

I agree. My wife owns her own skin, and I love her regardless of what she decides to stick through it, paint on it, etc.
In return, she forgives my style faux pas with minimal piss-taking.

Would you have split up if she'd been disfigured somehow in an accident?

If yes then you should split up anyway
If no then this sounds more about her doing something you didn't want her to rather than being about a tattoo.

Obviously just an ill informed opinion from the side lines :-0)

we can compare tatttoos
its a start.
depending on where her new tattoo is it will need someone to clean and care for it for a few days, cream and cling film to be put on.

and that they are gay, and have no creation and are likely to play safe in everything they do.

Well I have tatts yet my sexuality and even my gender are often questioned!

I was confused before, now I'm really messed up! :bang:
