They should've drawn the line at the point where smokers and non-smokers meet. Public transport, places where people eat, cinemas, etc..... but your local with nothing more than pool, darts and peeps enjoying a smoke and a pint s04pb0x6 . If ya don't like it sod off and drink in a non-smokers place :tosser: .

Not en masse they won't Wolfie. Yeah, you'll get a few protesting by way of boycott but it won't last. Most are not going to go without a beer and a leer just cos they can't have a fag.

Am lead to believe that some non-smokers would not use pubs because of the smokers so why not the other way around

I'm just offering a realistic take on this gathering belief that millions of smokers now won't use pubs. I just don't believe that, it ain't going to happen. As I said, you'll get an initial boycott by a few, but I don't think it's gonna make much difference once everyone is used to the idea...........

is kind of a self limiting stuff, i mean one can smoke 200 cigaretes a day but on the fourth joint would already be sleeping till tomorrw :-:
else, it increase the apetite p0pc0rn41 so pub owners could have lots of profit if it was liberated, besides, the smell of good cannabis is delicious

I think the pubs will be busier.

People won't stop going just coz they can't smoke AND people who don't smoke may start going back.

The pubs will be a better place for many, just look at the poll so far.... people are just doing it for the hell of it, NOT for simple pleasure.

I'm not talking about an isolated case, i'm looking at an overall picture.

Nobody i work with smokes so that more than makes up for it.

I'll stay at work and do some overtime.

Seriously though, they are not so myopic as to stop going out because they can't smoke in the pub..... they'll simply go outside.
They do it now because they can, when it IS banned they will retire to the carpark or beer garden area without any hassle.
