Surprised you noticed, what with all that Avatar shuffling your doing,

Just a thought that Tony Liar would make savings and then re route the funds to his own political ends? "ThoseNorth Koreans are a bit red you know"

Oh just had a thought....
You're not a Blairite are you John?

If I have offended you I sincerely and unreservedly appologise.
I couldn't live with myself if I thought that my inflamentary comments have kept you from the serious task of obtaining a velcro free ride, some time soon:rolleyes:

Under our current, Democratic will, We'r'e gonna end up in conflict with
N. Korea Just the same as we are with Iran.....
Just a pre empative thought on a bullshit reasoning (pre-Blair spin, granted)

Happy to discuss:neenaw:

Hmmmmm, i am of working class background however i don't feel i know enough about the subject within politics to be able to differentiate between them. They are all bullshitters and look after themselves, that i know.

Our local Labour councillor is a brilliant bloke, true to his word so far in the last few years. He's been tidying the area, ridding of anti social behavour and much more crime.
I'd vote for him as i have seen the good he's done thus far.
There are pro's and con's with every which way you turn.

As for VELCRO..... want some for ya tyres h1d1ng2

What about the potential reduction in cost for treatments for:
  • heart disease
  • stroke
  • asthma etc.
The savings would far outweigh the loss in tax revenue...

Then again were in "Blair world" now arne't we?
He'd probably use the cash to blow up North Korea:rolleyes:

tax from smoking ?8bn

cost to NHS for smoking related treatment ?1.5bn

gov = ?6.5bn short

public cough up the short please

It's just another freedom taken away from the "ordinary" people.

I don't smoke, but I'm not one of those arm waving, holier than thou types. If people want a fag, good luck to them.

Smoking

Smoking takes 10 years of your life (so "they" say), so what, they're at the end and are shitty years anyway (says someone else). :violin:
