This is what I'll be coming home with in three weeks, talk about fully loaded, even has a touring Scottoiler, bar risers, Monokey side and top box brackets, charger point, MRA adjustable screen, full tool kit, "crash bars" probably the best bit of the bike, should make it cheaper to repair!! 07 CBF 1000 A 7, 28,000 could have had the boxes as well but they were the old type and the set I have are already red, and keyless, so got more money off!! :worship2: The bad bit is, Yvonne fits the damned thing as well, so I expect it to "go missing" as she says if I don' t get on with it she'll have it rather than her Hornet!!

How does it compare weight wise to the bird?

Not far off the same weight but carries it a lot lower, moving it about is easy compared to the Bird, and as you can see Yvo can put both feet flat on the ground as can I, obviously although it has a lot of stuff already on it I shall be making one or two tweaks to make it "mine" mind you Yvo has taken a shine to it and I suspect she may go "missing" on it when I'm not aware!!

Joking aside, YES!!! she was/is tempted, but the other one was not a shade on mine!! nothing actually wrong with it, just didn't "call" to us!! however as soon as we get mine collected I'm sure she will start with "the wants" same as most of us!!

Cool but exactly what is it.
I was going to suggest a CBR 600
Had one for a short while.

When I picked it up on thought clock was kph. Long way down the motorway I realised why Sunday drivers were so slow.
I was doing 120 MPH and there was still some in it.
I've always referred to the 600F as the Baby Bird. Lots of power

Loved mine .... but with motorway commuting I just wanted something that wasn't screaming it's nuts off all the time.

I also think I may have been faster on track with my 600 than I am now with my GSXR1000!

Been out for a ride tonight with some of the lads
I was thinking of flogging the 1200 GS for the same reason Ian, but tonight put my head straight :)
Gotta do some strengthening excersises to beef up me right arm again though

Gonna have to get rid of some of the other shit to make room for the Bird, and another Bird that is soon to join the special..
And I got a real cheap old 51 plate BMW 650 GS for the back of the van too !!!
