I've had a number of Electrix stators go, but had found a fault in the loom on the power cables so it was possible that the system was putting too much strain on stator.
Now that I've fixed the loom I shall see how long my one lasts. Check your loom connectors at the stator and reg/rec ends to see if they are burning.
Really glad I took folks advice and listened to sense rather than just react.. On an open forum I cannot be accused of misquoting or anything else .

What was behind the removal of the account ?
Not only have you behaved in a very ungallant manner toward at least 2 of the ladies on the forum and some other long standing members who are not easy to upset, you have also incorrectly called me a thief and a liar.
There is an unwritten line and you crossed it too many times, which is why I took the almost unprecedented move of deleting your profile.
I apologise for that.. It was silly of me and I should not have allowed myself to become so agitated.

In the "Good Old Days" threatening to kill someone's children or even pay have have "unacceptable" pictures of killed members posted on the forum wouldn't have resulted in a ban - remember Reefer?????
Mind you - I didn't sell him anything so I guess that makes it different

If your experience with Electrix stators was so bad, why did you order another one? Please dont abuse John on here because most of us know from first hand dealings with him that he is one of the best and willing to help anyone at any time. My opinion is based of first hand dealings with John and asking his advice on a broken down bike at the roadside on a Sunday afternoon. His help allowed me to make the 100mile journey home without waiting for a recovery vehicle. Thanks again for that John, it hasn't been forgotten.

Perhaps a poll thread should be set up along the lines of 'does anyone have any confidence in JAWS in view of recent indecisiveness?; or maybe ;Would you trust this man enough to buy anything from?'
