I haven't read all of his posts, but I'd assume anyone willing to really piss off a major contributer who gives his time for the forum is fair game when he's handing out the punishments.
Most people on here have dealt with Jaws on a professional or personal basis and know who to side with. :yo:

Having read all the responses I think I DID act in a knee jerk manner.
Trouble is, as all who have had the misfortune to tangle with this charming person will testify, he gets RIGHT up your nose.
To that end I am re-instating the account..
The item he said was tat and rubbish was a set of gen coils for an EFI unit.. the same ones I have been doing for about 7 years now..
Yes, I have had one set fail but no drama's, replacement sent out immediately and no further probs
Many of you will know they are not the normal ones that are supplied.
Instead of trying them he just said they were probably rubbish.
I said fine, send em back for a full refund.
His follow up post was arsey and pissed me off ( I mean, WTF else could I have done other than offer a full refund ? )
In a pissed off state I put this thread starter up..
Sooo... duly re-instated so the delightful man can piss more people off .
That way he can tell all from his perspective and folk can then make a proper judgement as to what should be done ( if anything :-0) )
Oh and yup, I spose the forum is mine ( tis an historical thing, but in all honesty the proper answer is of course NO ! It really belongs to all you guys out there. ( which is why I read as much as poss and do take on board what is often quite correct critisism )

Wierd that. I criticised one of the products Jaws sells and I get banned from the site. The reason I called the Electrix world stator rubbish was because I had just had the second Electrix World stator fail within a few weeks. Last year I had two Electrix world stators fail within a few weeks. 4 failures on 2 different bikes fitted by different people. In my experience they repeatedly fail. Jaws, on his website, desccribed them as "beefed up". I've sent it back unused today as I will never again fitt Electrix World stators as I don't enjoy standing at the side of the road with a broken charging system on my bike, waiting for the breakdown van.

It's not so bad.....gives you time to stretch your legs, have a smoke or two, worry about how much it's gonna cost ya to fix the problem. No.....breakdowns ain't bad......as long as it ain't raining. :-0) :bow:

As I said the only criticism I've got of jaws is that he described the built built down to a price stators of Electrix world as "beefed up". There are beefed up stators availabe for about £140 but Electrix world don't make them. As for waiting for the breakdown van, it's when it keeps on happening when you need to be somewhere on time, that it becomes upsetting!

They used to be fitted with Electrix world stators. They arn't now.
