I've seen all the footage that is in the public domain, no doubt there is a lot more, but IMO it doesn't look good. I'm surprised that the film has made its way out since all filming of 'operations' is now covered by the terrorism laws (section 76).
That said, what surprises me is how cold it must have been in London that day, it appears that balaclavas were necessary below helmets ........... and as motorcyclists we all know the balaclava only comes out in the coldest of weather. :-0)

Seems the PC, has stepped forward to the IPCC, dam decent of him, now they would like him to take his balaclave off

Just heard on news that they are trying to cover up allready. They say no contact was made between the police and the bloke that died. Apparently thats why the film was handed in.:wank:'s

Dean, how many arrests did it take for you to develop this hatred of the police? :dunno:

I'm not sure I should say this on here but here goes anyway. For all those who are totally anti police maybe you should get to know Murt,Rhino,Jono and Morph. All nice people. IMO.

well said m8!! I don't know them apart from their postings on here, but I think they probably represent the more positive side of policing. They generally express quite balanced opinions, in the face of some quite hostile postings.

I've seen first hand on numerous occasions how ordinary decent blokes undergo a personality change the minute they don their uniforms - even my friends & relatives in the force, to a lesser degree (one of whom was very naughty boy in his formative years btw - he just never got caught!)
it'd be true to say I mistrust police as it seems an increasing number of them are not best suited to public service, but hate them? no.
I'd lock up litterbugs & dog foulers, reintroduce capital punishment & find another Australia for repeat offenders, beggars & single mothers :-0)
my mother was a prison officer in Holloway for many years so being arrested woulda been a no no for anyone in our family - or so we were told at the time.

Just watched the fotage for the first time, and i personaly think that he should be done for manslaughter. Having read the replys, we dont know what happened up to the event, but what we do know is that what ever happened the police delt with it and moved everyone on. I'm not anti police, we all need them some time or other, but i and i would think so many expect them to be professional. This plod wasn't and what ever had wind him up earlier he expressed it in that chap, i dont think he should be in the force or on the street. We need to make an example of these officers who have a total disregard for what they are supposed to stand for, because at the moment the perception is that some officers act like they are above the law. Now thats my bit over and done with.

whilst I agree the said officer deserves all he has coming to him, how the heck are they going to identify him??
There's always the possibility that one of the other police there is a decent sort who would identify the officer in question, surely?

As for the question of provocation, the attck was from behind on a man walking away with hands in pockets; totally unjustifiable, regardless of anything that might (or might not) have happened earlier.

Dean, My above comment was tongue in cheek mate but I do know what you are saying as my youngest daughter's ex fiance came out of the army & joined the West Yorkshire police, he virtually changed overnight, he was still a ginger haired Man utd supporting prick, but he suddenly developed an arrogance not seen before, for example he was giving my wife a lift home one night [whilst he was still in training] & he was speeding & doing handbrake turns, Bev told him to calm down & watch his speed as the police would have him, he replied "I AM the law" cocky twat, good job daughter dumped him, however she went on to marry a ginger haired Man utd supporting Prison Officer
