John, (and Goff) as I said in #21 of this thread, I shouldn't have made it personal and admitted that my initial reaction was "a little rash"

I do accept there are rules, but they need to be consistently applied with a little courtesy.

Perhaps, as I mentioned, when a standing member of Bikers Oracle strays from the rules, a pm or e-mail asking the person to rectify ithe issue personally would be a fairer way of dealing with it. Might also gain a fair bit of respect too.

I still feel that It was picked up on as I clearly stated they were mates bikes, not mine, and that I was trying to encourage them to join the site. noone would have batted an eyelid if I had just placed an ad as my bike.

This refferal lark can be a tricky business.
