p0pc0rn41 Why is this cross forum argument still going on? This is not what visitors to OUR site want to see or read about it does our integrity no good at all.Furthermore whilst i am no shrinking violet the language being used is frankly pretty foul and unneccesary and gives visitors(including any number of minors)the impression that we are no more than loutish bike riding thugs with a very limited command of the english language. Some of the usual suspects are missing from this discussion think i know why! Think on you guys.

So just how far do these rules regarding acting on mates behalf go? a few weeks ago I posted a question regarding a friend who was thinking of selling his 96 model blackbird,http://www.bikersoracle.com/blackbird/forum/showthread.php?t=38567&highlight=blackbird the question I asked was how much could he expect for it & I got some replies, what if someone had made an offer for the bike via this site? technically I have advertised & sold a bike for a friend. another case, I advertised a four into one system for the same friend http://www.bikersoracle.com/blackbird/forum/showthread.php?t=38860, why wasn't I sent to the naughty step for this?

Should be capital letters, people will think you have no command of the English language :-0)

Personally I like a good debate & in this case if the forum members feel that some of the rules are drachonian & need changing then maybe the administrators can see their way to looking into the posibility of changing them.

Well said that man:bow:.

Not the first time this has crossed my mind. I love the Bird forum but it is open to minors as well as everyone else and contributors should, in my humble view, keep the language out of it.

I too am no shrinking violet, although I do drive a Volvo, live in an bungalow and am a bank manager!!

Tis funny that 98% or so of the posters trying to support the action almost never post, nevermind sign in hered34l

What a bunch of amatuers
They're visiting from other parts of Biker's oracle, PTP, hence the low post count on BIRD. Mine is low on the CBR600 forum as I don't visit it much.

Anyway, it's time to play nicely again or I'll hide all the sweeties!

Looks to me like a minor niggle has got waaaay out of hand and people are reading the wrong things into even the most conciliatory of posts.

I have no knowledge of other posts being deleted previously, I'm referring to posts made by Parttimepilot regarding the subject of this thread, not past ones. And as to responding to your post #28, if you care to explain exactlky what you mean by it then I might do.

It's here, to save you the bother of repeating it.

Hah! I find that statement a bit ironic coming from you! The words pot, kettle and black spring to mind.

Just remind us again about the simple and easy to follow rules regarding anonymous cross forum moderation and thread deletion.... :-0)
