I am rather confused

now (nothing unusual then)

Firstly someone was accusing us of drinking Tetleys. I thought our ale was either M&B, Ansells or Marston's Pedigree? Even Hook - but surely not Tetley's?

Secondly FB says the 'greatest ever writer' comes from S-u-Avon - do you know, I've lived in the Midlands all me life and been to Stratford loads of times - and I never realised Terry Pratchett came from there - you learn sumfink new every day don't you? (although Pete has been to a certain J K Rowling's house (who unfortunately wasn't in) to read the meter, and we are still wondering whether its the famous one!)

Thirdly, I thought the Massif was sans frontiers - we have people from Zummerzet, Cornwall (previously) Wales (now!), the picturesque Humberside Riviera and even two from Rennes in la belle France who were welcomed into the fold at the Bash.

I don't think you could call that Xenophobic????
- but no doubt someone will prove me wrong (or even "rung" - as me an Jon an Anya wud say!)
