Well it's got enough service history invoices to choke a donkey, in there somewhere is a replacement regulator......is that the 'fix'?

Yours looks like a carburettor model (??) in which case you needn’t worry about the ‘fix’.
Just keep yourself awake at night worrying about when the charging system will fry itself.
In terms of servicing change the oil and filter and air filter once a year and Chuck a bucket of water over it every other year (whether it needs it or not) and you won’t go far wrong.
No need to panic about the charging system. Mine is still on the original system. No idea what all the fuss is about.
