Hi all,

Just a quick introduction from me. I've just obtained a '98 bird knowing it needed the oil cooler lines replaced. Thankfully I went here and read up on some advice before starting the job. Got the hel lines, and managed to replace them without shearing a single bolt!! Days of heat and penetrating fluid, then more heat!!

Anyway, chuffed with the advice, so paid for membership, but still not showing as a full member.

The other thing I did is buy some merch, polo shirt, badge and stickers......after paying I realised the web page looks pretty out of date, so not sure if merch still exists?!!

Can anyone shed any light?

Welcome, and thank you for sponsoring the site, it’s all that keeps the lights on!

There has just been a software update on the site by the third party provider and I understand there are a few ‘teething issues’.

The main man Jaws is away for a short period, I’ll ask him to take a look when he gets back.

Thanks for the welcome lads. I'm currently away in Dorset, so still haven't had the chance of taking the bird out for a ride since getting it!! First time ever I've wanted holiday to end sharpish so I can play on my new toy!!

I had a right result with my Bird, she's I great condition, FSH, both keys, lots of money spent on her, the guy had a near miss on it and wanted it out of his sight......said I can have it for free if I can collect it, which I did, quickly .

I replaced the oil lines and oil/filter(although it had a major service only 150 miles ago!) She fired up first push on the button and runs as sweet as a nut. It's got new tyres/chain/sprockets etc so should sail through its MOT when I get back..

Proper excited to take out my new 'bird'
