Indeed, I'm guilty of both now and again. @tu*

It's not so easy to just nip down the road to look at a bike 250 miles away. Work/family commitments and dark nights make it tricky at the moment. I deffo won't buy a bike unseen unless I really need to.

Sure, I'm being carefull, why not, but it's not like I'm in a huge rush, the weather is shite anyway so the bike will spend most of the time in the garage till spring.

Oh and yes I'v kicked plenty of tires, on my own bikes. I'v owned 10 in the last 10 years..so I do actually buy them, but not not normally at this time of year. And in the past they have been either new or demo bikes with very few miles on them.

I kept a ZZR1200 for a whole month once..awfull, Aprillia Caponord, the dealer had it longer than me..I broke down..a lot. So I guess those two don't count.

Nah it will get used to commute, but if we get a winter like last year, snow is so not on my list for riding. I still have a parking permit for work so it's not like I need to use it for work. That will change next year though. It's either a bike or a bus..
