You are probably the only person in the world that owns a motorised scooter and doesn't have a set of these...in fact now I have said it I wouldn't mind betting you would have found what you needed in the Bird toolkit......

Probably about a quid off eBay......

apart from the cobwebs!!!!!!!!!
That's what happens when a) we live halfway up a mountain and b) I can't ride the damn thing.
The only thing to take the piss out of is the woeful selection of tools.

The biggest tool in the garage is @Poo-Plop
It's not woeful, what you see is all I needed.

My trolley jack and Mrs P's mulcher are bigger. Close, but no cigar :p

What no injuries ? :risas3:
Actually, yes. A few minor abrasions on the back of my right hand from using too much grunt on the spanner to release the right silencer bolt. It didn't shift with the first attempt at modest pressure so I used a (very) bit more and clobbered the back of my hand on the swing arm. I'm a nob

Good heads-up actually, Beaks. I just ordered a set off Amazon, £3.45. I couldn't be arsed looking in the tool kit and Mrs P will always find a use for them (y)

Im not so sure Andy ... I think he took a while trying to find a person called Alan, who head would fit ??
And Alan helped him fix the pads ??
Ah, so that’s where I went wrong. If I’d gone straight to me bloody tool box, I could’ve been done in ten minutes :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

It is, actually. According to the manual, it's a three spanner indicator meaning 'Fairly difficult, suitable for a competent DIY mechanic'. I am not in any stretch of the imagination 'a competent DIY mechanic', so I'm starting to wonder what else I can do for myself . I'm not exactly sure that's a good thing :eusa_whistle:

Harsh. :risas3: My dad owned his own motor vehicle repair business, so I can't remember the first time I picked up a spanner.

There's a first time for everything and (obviously, from the above) the first time you do a job on your bike it's gotta be a twitchy experience...

...especially where brakes :yikes: are concerned. :meparto:
