Patch clubs are similar :p

So your telling me if I sew a club patch on my sleeve somebody may get the hump and shoot me :dunno:

The difference comes in whether the patch is something you buy from a shop or internet forum or a patch you spend many months (or possibly years) earning.

The Club patch is earned.....for somebody to copy the design and sew it on their jacket is seen as a major insult and a complete lack of respect to the members who had to earn the patch.

you are fecking around with their property
Surely if I buy it then it's my property?

their code, their honour
Please explain the honour in a 'code' where you beat a guy up for wearing a badge you think he shouldn't. I'm not saying it's ok for him to wear it, I'm asking why it's ok to beat the shit out of him for doing so.

their life.
How does it affect their life when someone else does something totally extraneous to it?

I accept that membership has to be earned to be worthwhile, but I can't see the justification for attacking folks who 'do wrong'- it's no better than when the miners were killing strikebreakers & taxi drivers.

RH

ps- I earned the de Crane emblem on my tracksuit & would be offended by imposters but I'd simply tell them they weren't entitled and think of them as pathetic wannabes; I wouldn't dream of attacking them.

so this gets more interesting by the minute, lets see if I have got this right, I cant start up a little local motorcycle appriciation club and put for example Crawley MC on the back of my jacket as somebody will get pissed of and either beat me up or shoot me but I can start a local footy team and wear what i like, seems motorcyclists/bikers are a bit on the selfish side to me :dunno:

Put the MC patch anywhere on your jacket, bike, T-shirt, tattoo, item of jewellry etc. and you're inviting trouble unless you've gained the right to wear it.

So what you are saying is I can run a motorcycle club but cant tell anyone thats what it is :dunno:

What I'm saying is....if you want to start a MC patch wearing club in your area then permission must be sought from the dominant Outlaw club in your area to start such a club.

Not recommended Eddy......there was a slight 'incident' at a bike rally recently with a well known MC taking exception to a couple of wannabe's wearing SOA patches and T-shirts they'd bought on Ebay. :-0)

Who the hell has the god-given privilege of making the decision as to who may wear what in this world?
Who or what gave them that right? Or is it just the fact that they have decided for themselves that they can lay down their rules to the rest of the world?
I'll shoot anyone in a camo jacket that hasn't been in the military- that'll show them who's bigger, tougher & smarter, wont it? If not, please tell me the difference.

because he didnt listen
So if anyone doesn't listen to people with no right to dictate then they have the right to issue beatings?

you are defending the honour of your club
I fail to see a great deal of honour in all this.

"nobody walks over us"
Wearing a badge is hardly walking over anyone, is it? Only little people fuss about little things.

the Patch, the club its rules etc are their life they live by it and for it.
They have every right to do so & I wish them good luck, but they have no right to impose their values on others.
