Often thought about it......don't know anyone who has tried it. I'd like to hear from someone who has had it done to learn of their experience before commiting to it meself !!!!!
I had laser eye surgery 4 years ago because of glasses steaming up. forgeting I had the fookers on when taking helmet off at Tescos
( painful ) Also for scuba diving, tennis squash etc.
Tried contacts for several years, fooken pain in the ass, somedays all OK next day sore eyes, tried the ones you keep in for a month at a time, they were great apart from the fact that they were distroying my eyeballs.
So it was laser treatment.
Went to a place in Manchester cost was ?900 ish ( they were having a BOGOF sale True ).
My eyesight was not that bad so only had the eyes lasered not the one where they lift a flap of eye and then burn it. Nowt to it really, the only really odd bit is you have to stare at the red light and then you feel no pain but the smell of burning flesh ( Eyeball ) was the only iffy bit.
Had major discomfet for about 24 hours pain like arceye was all sorted in 2 - 3 days.
Although it can take 3 - 4 weeks before your eye sight returns to normal. With me it took about 5 days. I can always remember waking up and for the first time in years being able to see the clock on the video over the other side of the room. Downsides are some people have flare at night from lights coming towards them. I dont have that problem, I just miss stop signs.
I would recommend it to anyone.
Anyone intrested I will sort out the paperwork and get the name of the people that did it.
