Why the hell Honda have waited soooo long before doing a better Bird anyway :dunno:

For ?9000 keep the Bird just as it is but add some nice goodies as standard, a bit of bling or prepurchase options at no extra cost, for example........

OHLINS all round, forks and shocks,
HID lights,
Touring seat maybe,
Hugger,
Risers and Preload Adj

OK back on course......... improvements....... perhaps increase the tank range if it's possible, maybe tweak the seat a little - more comfy for the pillion?

There'll always be things that go faster, turn quicker, carry more, look flashier, produce more BHP... the trick is putting the crucial stuff together in a coherently useful way...... and I think the bird does just that.

In fact that's how I'd probably sum up Honda's generally.
Not always the best in each category but as a package they get it pretty good which makes it real world livable.

As for the Kwaka... be good to see what it's like for real.
If it that good all round then it makes sense for Honda to wait a bit and sort out the BB replacement as a response..... just as the big K did back when Honda hit the market first with the 750/4...... they held bag and eventually responded with the Z1....

fully adjustable suspension both ends, more ground clearance, option for linked brakes or not, "a major selling point if ever there was one" :dunno: abs, optional bar reach/hight adjustment, improve the lighting at the front, reduce spare part prices and add a few more colour variations, :dunno:
I would have "jokingly" suggested indicators like on a "beemer" but I'd probably get in to trouble for going "off thread"
