I've had a couple of different helmets over the years and am now the proud owner of an Arai Signet GT which I wish I'd had years ago. :bow:

However, what do you out there wear and which do you think is best.

Mine. Ask any of my girlfriends. BTW you forgot to list Schuberth and since it saved mt life last year (and another guy I know who was wearing one when is head encountered the corner of a curb) well I'm a tad biased toward Schuberth S1.

Shoei

Shoei with a pinlock. Perfection. Easy visor system, quiet and fits my head. :bow:

I would never have another Shark, they mist up easy as anything despite all the anti mist remedies being tried, the chin strap adjustment is always working loose.

Both Floozy and myself find HJC's comfy, quiet and an all round nice lid, I like the 'foggy' insert that comes with them.

Most comfortable one I ever had was a Bieffe

bieffe is a good fit...best i've had so far is a GPX :bow: mind you,i've only had 1 other helmet besides it in recent times(after a 22 yr break)which was a shark,also a good fit,comfortable and good for cutting out wind noise.

tried a shoei kag rep recently,which was an excellent fit and i really fancy one,just gotta convince the SWMBO that i need it :rolleyes:

the best helmet is the one that fits your head best.

Was arai for me, but not so sure now days.

SHOEI RAID..

Very comfy lid, no draught at all but had to fit a FOG CITY to stop it misting up. Good finish and lightweight too :beer:

stupid and pointless poll. This time from a Pinkbird rider.

I realise Fat Bert hasn't got the monopoly on them though so feel free.

Arai's are crap in comparison to Shoei and Schuberth but are bought by fashion seekers. :lol:
always the critic!!! try posting something constructive for once Lumpy, your being even more of an "old woman" than you usually are, :t
take a "chill pill" and just join in, its harmless and SOMETIMES its funny, normally till some sour puss like YOU starts Winging, :rolleyes: :f :}

I have

an Arai head so its got to be an Arai,, always had one nice snug fit & saved my head last June after my off,, so after my Quantum F I now have a nice Astro J,, autocom fits nice to,,, some peeps reckon they are noisy but if your head is the shape of a casy ball like mine its quite quiet :}

You'll be banning whinging next :lol: and why is it deemed non-constructive just cos it's true. Explain the point?
explain the point,?? I was under the impression you were halfway intelligent,

if you need ME to explain I must have been labouring under a misconception!!

These questions from supposed experienced riders beggar belief sometimes. It's a 'how long is a piece of string' type question.
and some "experienced" bikers have actually answered to the best of their ability, the "string" question as THEY obviously regard it as "valid" :dunno:

And as for you. STOP getting on at me. What have I ever done to you? Apart from having a better colour bike and being better looking.

ME!!! :eek: getting at YOU!!! :eek: when??? not me!! nope!!
better what??? BETTER LOOKING!!! :puke: :f

I've just bought a Schuberth at the show to replace my old Caberg. I like flip-fronts as I can get them on and off without removing my specs.

The Schuberth puts the Caberg to shame quality-wise, but it's a lot noisier.
