Forum names

bitontheside - because i like sidecars ( hence "a bit on the side" of my bike) - got into them when the kids came along and wanted them to join in. Nowt to do with extra-marital activities! They get in your blood. Great fun, especially in the rain!
No avatar because I don't have a clue how to do it.
Real name Chris and Julie ( and Graeme and Kate).

I chose BraXX because of my country (a few weeks on a sailboat far from most members) plus the one thing we all have in common. Only later I noticed the name sounds odd in English 8l1nd but then I figured that with so many members wearing pink leathers on this forum  I could keep the nickname without much shame  .
I will have an avatar when the admin decides to make it available as courtesy to foreigners g0551p .

My surname is Quine, and so the adding of a 'y' was a natural.

The name is Manx and I was born over there.

And for those who don't know how to pronounce it correctly - it's not Quinn,

Try taking the 'e' off the word equine - phonetically 'kwine'

Now add the 'y' and you have Quiney

And the avatar - its now obvious.

Name

I'm known as Chuck at work. My real name is Andy (albeit my second name). There were two Andy's at work and it was confusing. Somone cottoned on to the fact my FIRST name is actually Charles and my surname is BERRY. So Chuck Berry it became!! And it's stuck.

Brakelady? No need for explanation here! I swear she has a hidden brake when she is riding pillion! Her real name is Cheryl.

My Avatar? Just liked it.
