It actually came about from a typing error on the acers site when someone called me Paunchy and missed the 'a' out (Punchy). One of the more gullable members picked it up and asked if I'd been a boxer...

well for obvious reasons it is appropriate for the Bird......I am female........and also it was the title of a song by a well known punk singer way back in the early eighties who I worshipped.............one of the many songs she did that were bloody great punk songs before she went slightly more commercial.

and was one of my favourite songs. I wanted something that was unlikely to be chosen by someone else.
