What is freedom

Wolfie

Is a lunp
and do we really have it???

My answer is no we dont.

because as long as we are restricted in any way we are not truly free and can never be so.

governments pass laws we follow the laws we are restricted

churches pass laws tell people how to live, they are restricted

the more clubs/cults you belong to the more laws more restrictions

so again what is freedom???

it's defined by your ability to make choices.

Yes it does - when we cannot choose. Real choices are made based on knowledge and information. Most choices are made based on emotional stimuli and fear, and are therefore not an expression of freedom.

Are we really free when we believe we are free or are we only free when someone else tells us we are free?

Are we free only if we believe we are are free or are we really only free when we don't actually think about being free?

Is freedom real freedom or is it freedom from the illusion of freedom?

If we have the illusion of freedom are we free if we truly believe that the illusion of freedom is really being free?

If I think I am free but you think I am not free which of us is right?

The answer to the last one is that Derek is right if he's talking to me while he's at work !!!!

DnD you can never have freedom, therefore you can never be totally free.
Ah but as I know that I don't have freedom does that mean I'm free from the illusion of freedom even if not actually experiencing real freedom rather the illusion of freedom which of course i know is not actual freedom?

Wolfie

Is a lunp
no,

because not having freedom, when you feel free you are having the illusion of freedom, and as we are supposed to live in the free world they did you the illusion of freedom all the time, even though you dont have it at all.

But I know I am not free and thefore don't have the illusion of freedom, I know that I do not have real freedom and that apparent freedom is an illusion.

Therefore am I not free from the illusion of freedom?

Wolfie

Is a lunp
no.

because you are given the illusion of freedom everyday. by the media, gov.people around you etc etc etc.
