I went into my front garden & sunbathed on a deck chair, house in the corner had two carloads of visitors, no social distancing, they’ll still be out clapping & banging pans tonight.

A familiar knock on my front door about half an hour ago, I opened the door & my daughter & my three Grandkids were stood at the end of my drive, the youngest (Tilly) started to walk towards me, my daughter called for her to come back, twice more she tried to approach me, then after a while as my daughter & I were talking I felt something touch my leg, it was Tilly very gently touching me, she had sneaked down the side of the car & craftily made her way towards me, how the hell do you tell a three year old it’s wrong to cuddle?

My sister’s partner is still there unable to get out, he’s been there 10 weeks or more already. He’s fallen out with his son and daughter in law he went there with along with their 2 kids because of their “parenting skills” or rather, lack of. And so he’s now moved in with his daughter in their other house.

Removed the bits I needed and then grandson appears.

Crap, grandad, dad said he needed a couple of bits and the exhaust off my spare rat bike

Now, once the road going one is finished I have got to 're-imagine' the donor bike to get it ride-able again..

Because I have used the forks and the only other ones I have has a disk brake front brake, I have got to make a loom up to suit the switch gear attached to the master cylinder... Got to make from scratch an air filter box, find somewhere to mount all the electrics under the seat including somewhere to mount a battery ( I used the under seat tray off the donor as the road one was missing completely )

In other words I had one build to do... I now have two builds to do, one of which is a redesign

If 6 people can now meet, but stay 2 metres apart - it’s going to be a bloody long way to have to shout to each other if you’re at the end and want to say hello to grannie at the other end. I don’t think her hearing aids are that powerful.
