Just got back in from a nearly 2 hour walk along a river & around a lake, hardly saw a soul until I got back into town where I spotted two pensioners sitting nattering on a bench, 4 kids playing together while their mothers sat on the grass with a bottle of wine & a little later 2 coppers harassing a young lad that didn't seem to be doing anything except being outside he was in his own front garden ffs

Just completed the upgrade and modifications to the van wiring.. At 15 amp charge I am loosing .18 volts over the run.. Not perfection but so much better than the volt I was dropping before ( which confuses the charger and makes it drop to trickle before the batteries are finished bulk charging )
Also did a system mod so all the 12v systems work in the back with the engine running ( Brit built vans conform to a very old Brit rule and switch every thing off in the back )

Tomorrow it will be clear up time, but for now it is a cuppa and siesta !

Just been out collecting and delivering prescriptions and shopping

Why can't people just follow the simplest instructions. Still a reasonable number of people doing there own thing. One family with two young kids wandering round the supermarket.

Stay home.

Protect the NHS.

Save lives.

A local business man has donated 4000 metres of fabric to enable volunteers to make up scrubs for NHS staff. Went out and delivered the fabric to those who are making this much needed stuff.

Ran the vacuum cleaner over the artificial grass and the driveway and patio. Then washed the upstairs windows as I didn’t do them a couple of days ago when I did the rest of the house. Washed the rear of the MH and then swopped over a spare wheel with one of the others in my workshop. Took the Norton out of the garage and started it up - because I could! :risas3: Hm, it starts on full choke, then won’t quite idle with it off when it’s warmed up. I’d better check the pilot jets tomorrow I’ve got plenty of time to spare

Today I've done a job been meaning to do for a while.

Removed right footrest and rear brake lever.
Dismantled it all, cleaned up the brake spigot as it had become a bit sticky when released.

Polished up all the bits, a dab of lithium moly grease on the spigot and reassembled.

All nice and smooth plus shiny.

Dark Angel

Still kickin' it!
Sat in the garden, reading. Bits and bobs on the 'Bird.

Did a couple of miles on the pushbike

Messed about on here.

Just relaxed in the sunshine and enjoyed being retired.

Got round to installing a SparkBright voltage monitor on the 'bird.

A job that I've been meaning to do for ages.

Had a big shock...an A320 went over at I would say 5000 feet and went on to land at gatwick.

I now know how it feels in @derek kelly part of the world when they gape in awe when they see a motorised carriage.

Cleaned out allthe pictures and videos that I don't want to keep have automatically downloaded from whatsapp on four devices And my cloud and, who would have believed it....my previously 'full' cloud now has 63% available capacity for backups.

Got,a,shopping list from my mum by email - quite impressed as she is 88 and thought an iPad was something you got for conjunctivitis a year ago.

Sat in the garden enjoying the sun.

Discovered we have run out of wine.

Took the drivers seat out ( Ducato ) as the foam of the seat sqab has become badly compressed and it is like sitting on a plank !!!

How mush do those seat weigh for crying out loud !!!!!!!!!!

Got it out and with only a little blood spilled managed to get the OEM cover off ..
Found some seat grade foam , cut and shaped it and then put it all back together
Took advantage of it being off to fit new faux sheepskin cover(s) ( did the passenger one too ), as the old ones were well past their best !

Tried the seat.. Joy of joys !!!!!
It is a little high but I am banking on it compressing a bit once used

Yes, just like the look of amazement on your face when you lean’t on a switch on the wall & the room lit up
