I went for a short ride today to Windsor to meet a mate for coffee. He also happens to be the previous owner of my BIRD and made me feel guilty for not having cleaned her in about a week. I went straight home and have cleaned her top to bottom and a good polish.

I took on a wee project for a mate, it's a 97 bird in black.

It's been sitting for ages and not starting so plenty to keep me busy for a while!

That looks savage!

I would like to do the same with mine.... Any details would be appreciated.

Cheers

A mate of mine does vinyl wrapping.
I got some vinyl off him and wrapped the clocks in about two hours. First time lucky I think.

The vinyl is quite expensive ?20 / square metre but it is the best and mine was free.

I have only wrapped the front of the clocks but the sides are hidden by the fairing surrounds. Also cut with a sharp craft knife around the dials.

I am sure i can get the make of vinyl if you want to get some.

Fitted MRA screen, super glued grip on lol, bit random but it needed doing, topped up clutch fluid, could do with bleeding as fluid was a bit sludgy decided against this step as the manual has still not arrived and finally got out my wet & dry and my buffer and cracked on with polishing the stainless bits
