What does the law state...........

The law on visors is as follows:-

A visor has to be clear or have a maximum 20% tint for use on the public highways of the United Kingdom. Race tracks are private property thus exempt from this ruling. A motorcyclist may wear sunglasses underneath a clear visor but must remove them in poor light conditions (as if we haven't got our own brains!) All visors must reach the required standard, the same as safety helmets, which is ECE2205 European standard. These visors are registered for continuous use (24 hours a day 7 days a week) for five years, unless damaged. The British Standard is still in effect and a full BSI kite mark must be clearly visible on all visors if not under the ECE2205 regulation.

Basically what they are saying is that, as bikers, we have no brains, sense or ability to think for ourselves. Consider this, it is NOT illegal to wear sunglasses when driving a car at night, so, are they picking on bikers???????????:wank:
