I must confess that I don't have intelligence about UK, but was assuming that it would be the same here than in France - maybe I'm wrong. Having said that I would say that they would target supporters from high-profile clubs whose matches are always broadcast on telly, and not a local sunday league club like spuds :f Rob, not disputing it but don't know where you get your 'thousands' figure. Also, I wouldn't think that they all belong to far right organisations. Finally, some of them can be plain morons not fueled by infiltrators - stupidity comes natural to some people.

I concur, but let's put it into perspective. What % of those that attend matches share this mentality. At ya average Prem div match with an attendance of 40k, you get 10-11 arrests!!!!! I'm no good with figures so work that one out :neenaw:

Well if you want to talk about perspectives, over 100,000 bikers and relatives attended the BMF, not one arrest.. And bikers / motorcyclists are still viewed as social pariahs... If we are that bad, how should we percieve football fans ?

Good point, good point.... but isn't that because the majority of those with the potential to be arrested are already banned from the respective grounds.... because they are known hooligans and have been arrested before? :dunno:
