Stan,

Would be interested in this - but I have a few questions.....

1) Is camping an option?
2) If so, where (near a pub please)
3) Or hotels nearby?

Thanks in advance

firstly........accomodation.I have a list of guest houses/pubs/hotels which,at present have plenty of places to accomodate us,but be awarethese could quite easily become full in no time.i would urge you to book straight away if you wish to attend this event to avoid dissapointment.
all the below are situated within the town of llandovery, and in walking distance of each other.

Also, two of these establishment's are able to provide us with food(and drink) for the saturday evening, but i will need to know numbers of peeps who wish to take this up,so if you are please let me know. either can cope with us all,so just have to decide which

so here goes..............
1/ the north western(pub),tel 01550 721123..ask for dave or mike.
have a wide range of rooms from doubles and twins to a room with 3 single beds in it...would suit 3 solo riders.cost is ?25 p/p inc breakfast..can sort out secure parking too.

2/ the pencerreg guest house,tel 01550 721259...ask for barbara.

3/the kings arms(pub) tel 01550 721399..ask for karen.
can accomodate 7-8 people here...cost is?20 p/p inc breakfast.
has lots of secure parking also.

4/the whitehall(pub) tel 01550 721139...no name here.
has two family rooms en suite....?20 p/p inc breakfast, has secure parking.
please do not phone on a monday as they are closed.

5/the drovers guest house..tel 01550 721115..ask for jill.
has 2 doubles and 1 twin en suite @?55/room inc breakfast,and.......
2 doubles and 1 twin non en suite@ ?40/room and secure parking.

6/ the velindre guest house..tel 01550 720198..ask for handel or bobby.

Where's we goin', Stan? Llyn Brianne, Abergwesyn Valley, Devil's Staircase, Devil's Bridge, where, where, where........ R#?

Think I need a week for all the places I want to go, perhaps. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

I know, as I'm a lady of leisure at the moment, I can bimble up and potter round all the old haunts on my new toy, can't I? :yo:

Ah yes I was thinking from Llandovery A40>A483> M4east>M5north>M42>M6 stop for lunch 15Min's max then back to Llandovery same way lol or wot.

It'll make a nice change for me and Stan we're fed up having to change our tyres just because they're fooked on the edges and it'll mean we can get rid of the chicken strip in the middle.
