I did tell ya, Stan, pages back. Definite approval here, love those roads and had our wedding photos taken very close to where those pics where shot. Small waterfall on the right between the submerged dam (bridge thing) and the Penygarreg dam (second dam), and by the Penygarreg.

Now the only thing that's missing is the Abergwesyn-Devil's Staircase-Llyn Brianne route!

hi chuck.....the meal is in the evening mate,so i take it you won't be needing one.if you go to page 4,post 59 of this thread...the ride details are there.although these look likely to change to a more "favourable" route riden by blu yesterday...through the wonderful elan valley.

you will not be dissapointed

Anyone mind.....

If me and the Mrs tag along om the Saturday ride out ? We'll be dropping down from near Ashby de la Zouch so if anyone else is riding across from there, drop me a shout and we can hook up for a blast over.....we'll head off b 4 the fodder in the evening, but can't leave it too long before meeting you load of reprobates so we'll be there.....:neenaw:

If you guys are doing the Vale of Elan, and have never done it before, I can recommened it, Floozy and myself did it a few weeks ago, taking in the visitor centre by the dam, then following the road out past the lakes, also have a look at the old mine before Devils Bridge.

Cant recommend it enough.
