I haven’t worn a watch for 20 years.
I only wear a watch to work. I make a point of taking it off at home and at weekends.
Trouble is, these days if you carry a phone then you're carrying a timepiece whether you want to or not. Just by looking at the screen you are reminded of the time ...:(

I’m a liar! I just remembered I wear a Garmin GPS course planner when I play golf, it can tell the time but it’s meant to remind me how far away from the flag I keep hitting the ball.

I stopped wearing a watch as soon as I stopped work due to the fact when the sh#t hit the fan every
minute counted.

When did they start allowing that, Malone?

I need to use an Ordnance Survey Map for that!

I don’t know. I only partook of golf again 3 years ago after a 15 year layoff. They were a new gadget to me so I got one. It uses GPS and an inbuilt database of tens of thousands of golf courses worldwide. Therefore it knows where you are on the course, which hole you’re currently playing (trying to play) and how far you are from the front, middle and back of the green. It helps to take some of the guesswork out of how far the next shot is.

The thing that amazed me after a 30 year lay off is the size of the drivers - where's the skill in that??

My TaylorMade M6 is the maximum allowed and is huge compared to my old persimmon woods of old. But then my Callaway ERC2 is not as big but is longer hitting, but it’s illegal. Now they design the clubs to be 100% legal - just. The twistface design also helps to keep it straight hitting, less fades and draws. So much so that I now also carry my old Calloway XR16 driver, set up at 12.5degrees + draw, to enable me to shape some tee shots.

I'm still wondering why anyone would watch theft in Ibeza (wherever that is?).

Anyone with any guts would be stopping it.
