Be carefull that the glare from your medallion doesn't ruin the pic..
Also be carefull that your tassles don't beat your arms black & blue whilst on the 0-100mph dash for glory.. I bet you watch old episodes of 'CHiPS' coz you think your 'Poncherelo' cruising on the freeway in the sun with your medallion and mirrored sunglasses and your fake yank accent..
You'll be the one who walks into the pub wearing 'PAGAN MAN' aftershave and a Brylcream quiff.
If they're sooooo damn good why are you on here trying to sell them????
you should be a 'Jehovah's Witness', they spout shite and no fooker listens.
I'm shutting the door on you now...........!

Really~~~~~?

You see to have a constructive disscusion you need to expect a little bit of intelligence to understand a reasoned arguement, sadly they are very lacking in that department,

Really B1rdie - and what University Hons Degree did you come out with?

Shall we talk about 2.1 MBA [Hons]?

Or shall we continue in your usual vein - complete bollox?

then you need a level of riding skill to understand that fun does not have to be at high speeds in the corners, along with the fact that my Harley will blow most sports bikes if not all, let alone a Bird away to the ton.

Really [2]??????

Well with all that ground clearance you enjoy on the "pile of Shite" Milwakee Pig Iron - then the sheer grunt [wondered why Harldy Movingson owners always talk about GRUNT - could be the Pig iron calling] and the "straight out of the box" square tyres [sorry American TIRES] - high speed - blow away?

Me thinks not!!

Bring it on Big Boy - Santa Pod? or how about the Mira track day in September? Places still available !

At the end of the day each to his own.............

You either ride a bike for adrenalin and skill improvement

or you POSE

Criticise my riding by all means [once you've seen it]

Criticise my humour [everyone else does]

but please...........don't belittle yourself B1rdie by attempting vainly to criticise my level of inteligence

An MBA is an indication of an ability to learn and read, it is no indication of intelligence, nor common sense and it has no baring on physical skill.
If you have a 2.1, I suggest you use it more effectively or in your case, deny ever having an education.

I never mentioned on any corner, it was from a standing start ( read the post MBA boy)

I dont need to pose, as that assumes I do things to elicet that response from others. No I do not, I ride the bike of choice, purly for my own selfish pleasure and fuck what anyone else thinks or envies.

True that was folly on my part, as clearly there is nothing to criticise.

I hope that clarifies things for you. :f

Oh FFS! Once again the thread has been derailed by people sabre rattling.

STOP IT NOW!!!!!! this is getting silly and repetitive.

When will people realise that everything in life is horses for courses? B1rdie likes Harleys, thats your perogative, Bert dont, thats his choice. Why start this petty bickering just because you both beg to differ?? Where do you think you are? fecking IXRRA????

Just for the record, I have not ridden the V-Rod and neither do I wish to, its not a bike that I can ever see myself riding. I have ridden a Hardley, allbeit a 883 sportster, which I did enjoy but that was a) Me dads and b) a very gentle and quick test ride cos uf I scratched it there would be hell to pay.

Word to the wise B1rdie, dont assume anything in here. Most people here DO know bikes and they know them well. Me? I know how to break 'em.

Start on me and I'll cry like a girlie, raid the QM stores and GPMG yer arse! man8um

Okay Dipstick, read this

Mine V-Rod is not stock.

The engine makes a lot more torque lower down.

The stretched out chassis enables it to lay down all of it's power from a standing start.

It uses Dunlop 208 tyres, not your normal cruiser crap.

It been tested :f :f

Lets put your shiny shiny potato up against my 1999 carbed BIRD with 29K on the clock

A52 - Nott'm to Derby - standing start - 1, 2 or 5 miles

Then just to be REALLY interesting - Toton Hill - 1 in 5 gradient - uphill!!

Man or Mouse?
