Got it running..
The pick up sensor had got knocked and the gap was too wide.
Only running on propane at the moment cos the tank is bone dry, but it fired up no probs

I will sleep,well tonight knowing all is well

Full update.. and story

This year at the bash we was short of a ped because no matter what, it just would not start and run properly ( worse than all the others LOL! )
Over the past week I tore it down and went over it..
Duff reed block.. Looked ok but was leaking
Spark, only when it felt like it. Pick up had moved and was too far away from the flywheel
Slightly bunged up float valve reducing the petrol flow into the bowl

Any one of them not too rare or unusual you say... Until you consider ONE week before the Bash it was running perfectly!
Then a week later 3 separate issues all unrelated
All good now, and even starts first kick from cold

Now fully sorted...And moved on to the next one..One of the peds was crashed in to by a guy who REALLY wanted to win !!
Hit so hard the rider snapped the bars off, the air box got smashed , air ducting on the engine smashed and one of the engine mounts crushed.
In the workshop now and will get on it tomorrow
