One of the 'racing peds' Will not start

Fuel getting through, carb striped and cleaned, reeds checked, spark sparking, compression ok, crank seals ok, exhaust not blocked

Will not start on petrol, gas or even fire up on easy start

It started and ran a few times for a few seconds, but now dead a dodo

Suggestions ?

Is the airbox a sealed unit - any air leakage messes the fuelling up.

Been there, and had one

Change the plug for a new one, that’ll rule out it breaking down under compression.

Started a tear down.. Double checked the reeds, checked the rings, base gasket crank, still no farther forward
Have ordered a reed block in case the blades have gone weak

Sounds like a leaky valve.

Not yet..
But.. I found the original fault
Although the reeds looked fine they had gone very weak
Ordered a new block from China.. It arrived within 4 days ( very surprised and happy about that !)
Fitted it and tried it..Nowt
Checked again and found that it had now 'lost' spark
Currentlyworking my way through that.. kinda difficult cos there is not much of the loom ( or any wiring ! ) left, and it is NOTHING like Yamaha intended !

Got it running..
The pick up sensor had got knocked and the gap was too wide.
Only running on propane at the moment cos the tank is bone dry, but it fired up no probs
