Went out this morning along the A59 towards Clitheroe/Gisburn then cut through to the A65. Went to Settle then onwards to Ingleton where I decided to take a different route home than the usual via devlis bridge.
I cut off through Bentham and passed by the Great Stone of three stones. From that moment on I was swimming up a stream of never ending suicidal cyclists, there were thousands and thousands of em, all the way to Slaidburn and all the way to Dunsop Bridge then all the way back home to Longridge.
There were people (obviously with not much excitement in their lives) sat outside their houses on the verges cheering and watchin em go past:wank:
Hopefully these selfish morons will be too worn out to hit the roads next week end.
Tried Hardknott pass a few weeks ago and had a similar fiasco of a ride then too they really should give plenty of warning when they intend to inflict themselves upon the rest of us road tax paying population.
