BTW, Avons performed as well as any tyre I've ridden before...[/QUOTE]
but, NEVER in my 16 years of living amongst the Welsh fraternity, have I seen someone alight from their bike on a single track road, in the wilderness of Wales...............and chase, with hips all flamingoed, after a flock of (ugly) sheep crossing the road!!!!!!!!!

Bluemeeine is either desperate or just a sheep's tart.

Just seemed the natural thing to do John but you would'nt understand not being Welsh

today was going to be a nice day out for me and Stan. We'd arranged to meet up with stealth rider,900hornet in swansea then up to Llandovery to meet mike fj1200.
I got to the petrol station before our meet and they were out of fuel, met the lads, had brekkie on our way then, but no Stealth spots a screw in Stans rear.
Off to our tyre guy where he changes it for a new one free of charge except a tenner for fitting as it's covered by Avon's warranty thing.
Off we go again get up to the cafe at Llandovery, I spot a screw in stealth's rear Avon, fook me what luck he gets it plugged just around the corner
off we set again. Nearly to Builthwells where the road's blocked due to an rta
we turn around go over a minor road toward Brecon lol sheep up here.
Say ta ta to stealth and mike fj1200 heading back to Llandovery and a nice cupa doing 90 ish in a 60 when a certain helicopter comes over us. How long had he been there are we gonna get done shit we'll have to wait and see
oh and it fooking rained
and the Avon's got no grip on mud as I found out.
Nice to meet a few of the Guy's off here though see you again soon I hope.

that Derek Kelly gets about !

Blu / Stan.. I wouldn't worry about the helicopter too much, i was followed and circled etc for about 5 mins last year down on the Shropshire/Welsh border. i had been riding pretty damn quick up until spotting it.
When i went back to work i mentioned it to my SGT who is ex RAF and he said there was a training ground in the vacinity for helicopter pilots and police air support camera operators and their trick is to practice keeping up with a bike as though it was a stolen car :yo:
Makes sense what he was saying, he did give me the loacation of the base but i forget it now, anyway, don't panic it was probably an excercise.

As soon as I disappeared into the distance going past Daring Lines I noticed the same said helo overhead took a look over me then went after you lot. I opened it up the bypass got held up by a few cars looked in my mirror only to see Pc Plod screaming down on me on his bike.He took a look then opened it up and went like the wind, so i thought if he can do it so can I but he just disappeared and me thinks he's lying in wait further up the road ready for me so I gave up and slowed down : :bang: blush:
