At least have the decency to spell my name correctly.

To keep the bile and vitriol flowing on this thread.

Oi! Slobbo!! I'd much rather ride a blue slug than your two-wheeled fag mobile that looks like a tart's handbag and has the potency and performance of Stephen Hawking's cock.

How's that?

@tu* See you can lower your "standards" 8rfl@ to "our" level, and you do it SO easily!! :-0)

I THINK YOU ARE ALL BEING VERY NAUGHTY AND SHOULD STOP BEING UNKIND TO tsm123!
Let's all play nicely now to sort his problem out!

I would like to start by offering my boots that I got in the early 70's from the boot maker Noddy Holder used!

I seriously think setting the bike back to standard and built up boots as a starter is the most sensible and cheapest way to go. Any good shoe repaired could do it for about ?20! The extra rubber on his boots can then be removed when his confidence with the Bird increases and he will probably find he doesn't need all this messing about!

On a serious note if you just wanted to lower the height a little could you just

drop the front and leave the back alone?

probably make it handle a bit better too!

That's an old trick we used back in the 80's to make some bikes turn in quicker, its the same as raising the back & alters the geometry slightly but you do lose a little ground clearance & there are limits to how much is safe or sensible to drop the front

Just a thought .....

If someone took the wheels out and swapped them for say 10" wheels from a ladies shopping trolley .. Obviously would need a few spacers but apparently someone on here has plenty ???

This would drop the bike considerably ... And the be useful for the hobbit ... I mean someone with short legs .... ??
Possibly go the whole hog and put the shopping basket on as well ???
That would save purchasing the Givi luggage kit too ????

:dunno:
