Before you do anything remove that spacer and put the standard rising rate parts back on..
. Dropping the rear down will amplify the issue 10 fold !

Or is it 100 fold ??? LOL

I did say earlier (between the pi$$ taking) that you should go back to square 1 and start over again ....
One step at a time ...

Even with very short legs the bird is manageable !!

I wouldn't mind losing a few inches in the knee area ...

As 6' 4" is a bit too tall sometimes !!!

6ft 4" is positively disabled anything over 5ft 6" and a bit is unhealthy
now ALL I have done is lower the back and front I haven't put any spacer in, I only lowered the front cause u said I had to match it to the rear. But looking at the bike it looks to low at the front and it also catches the lift ramp I just wondered if I could lift the front back up 1cm. Would it really nock the steering off.i haven't been out on her yet I'm waiting for a rear disc. Mine is cracked.

Absolutely spot on .... My elongated limbs are indeed a hindrance sometimes !!!

Back to suspension issues ....

Just a thought ... How many miles have you done ??
There may be a bit of an issue with too much sag ! At both ends !!
If the springs are worn on the front it may result in the front end looking nose down even if the forks are set correctly
AND the rear may sag too much if worn ...

Just a thought ???

The bike is 2004and has done 13400 Mls the suspension looks ok and from bumping her up and down feels ok it just looks low after lowering her 3cm John bell has the same lowering kit fitted so I will see what his thoughts are but if needed I will just fork out for a lower seat (I made a joke "fork") Geddit anyhoo any advice gratefully accepted

Honestly I would suggest go back to standard everywhere ......
Then check sag and spring levels etc etc
Then TRY a lower seat ,..... There must be a few people out there with similarly undeveloped legs ,?????

It could be suspension problems OR not set up correctly ,????
Have you tried can other birdvto compare ??

Remember the ,6mm spacer above the rear shock ,?? Take it out and try

The birds suspension is virtually foolproof and standard setting is fairly decent
Improvements can be made but standard is good enough for most

What spacer? Who fitted a spacer? where did the spacer come from?

The 60mm one you thought about putting in !!!

Someone may have thought about it and put a 6mm one before you .... ??

FFS man! :bang: You're really making a mountain out of a molehill here. Put the bike back to where it was when you started, stop faffing around trying raise this, shorten that and either find a pair of platform boots so your stumpy, abnormaly short legs can touch the friggin ground or do the easiest option of swapping it with Derek and get his Yammy YBR 125! And breeeeathe...:-:

Another vote for "Put it back to standard", I'm 5'6" on a good day and can get both feet to the deck enough to support the bike OK. You can get a foot flat if you move a your a#?e an inch. I have a 6mm spacer and can still manage OK.

You need to ride it on standard settings to get familiar with the handling before you start messing around with the suspension in any way.

And you are an irritating little !!!!!!!!!

Re plugs .... I helped by backing up jaws information !
But you claim he was wrong !

This post I helped by advising you to go back to standard (as everyone else has)
But NO ... You know best !!
In fact you think you know more than Jaws and other experienced bird owners ...

Go your own way and do your own thing ....

Love expired when he pissed me off with his comments on frame plugs !!!!

Luckily I remembered how to ignore people ,....

99.999999%. Of the people on here are fantastic ,!!
That yank madbird, steviebiker and tsm seem to be the exceptions !

Shame none of them listened to advice and knew better than more experienced people (jaws for example)

Your one and only "helpful post " told me to take a never existed spacer out , read the post first and backing jaws up for what I'm not stupid I can fit 4 different sized plugs into 4 sized holes one does not fit simple as that (jaws does not need you to hold his hand (even if u want to) and as for pissing u off about the plugs what has it got to do with u . I was talking to jaws.
I do hope u can ignore my posts you are a very unhelpfull person
