Hey up DustPan.....

Now THAT'S what I've been expecting Mike !!!!!! I honestly thought everybody on the forum would crucify me but the Pan seems to have raised more positive reaction than negative.
That cos as peeps get older (not having a dig, honest) they realise that their taste in bikes change, so look to something different to suit their new tastes.
A lot of people here have been through the "had a 'Bird, done it got the memories, moved on" bit, myself included, although not quite for the same reasons.
Bird is a great bike, but it isn't the only competent bike on the market.

Enjoy your Pan, Dusty!

Good choice Supa!

If I ever think of getting rid of my Trophy, that's probably what I'll buy. Couldn't get one when I bought the Trophy - the 'new' one didn't come into the country till after we'd bought the Trophy and Jen's backside couldn't wait till then! (we had an Africa Twin at the time)

Know what you mean about comfort - had to wake Jen up on the M6 the other week, coming back from Wales.

The fitted panniers certainly are an improvement - can't filter on the BB fully loaded, like I can on the Trophy - and don't 'spoil the lines' LOL

Gizza go?

Pete

Because most on this blinkered forum reckon the Blackbird is the best bike in the world for everything. I even understand some sad muppets put laggage on them?
